Connections, Bonds, and Fleeting Moments

This work is made up of strong rectangles and shows the relationships between different emotions felt in local environments and a person’s inner world. Thin pieces of paper are layered and tangled together, using dark and light colors, connected and broken lines. At times, these layers form intersections and bonds that shine, showing the emotions and interactions that happen in local communities. The whole piece is a collection of short, fragmented moments.

This work reminds us of the importance of respecting each person’s boundaries while forming healthy and positive connections through interaction. Using a collage format, it highlights the small, precious moments in daily life that often go unnoticed but come together to create meaningful experiences. ©hwaran

교차와 상호 유대 그리고 찰나의 기록

단단한 사각형들로 구성되어 있는 이번 작품은 로컬 환경에서 느낄 수 있는 다양한 감정의 관계, 개인의 내면세계를 상징적으로 나타낸 얇은 종이들이 서로 겹쳐져 얽혀있는 모습과 어두운색과 밝은색, 서 로 연결된 선과 끊어진 선, 때로는 상호작용과 유대감이 교집합을 이 루어 반짝이며 로컬 커뮤니티에서 일어나는 감정과 상호작용이 교차 하는 모습을 시각적으로 보여주며 작품 전체는 단편적인 순간들의 집 합체로 이루어져 있다.

우리에게 각자의 정신적 경계를 존중하며 서로 상호작용함으로써 형 성되는 건강하고 긍정적인 관계의 중요성과 작고 소중한 순간들이 서로 교차하며 일어나는 일상에서 간과되는 찰나의 기록의 소중함을 콜라주로 표현하였다. ©화란

Local Edit : EDIT THE LOCAL

Locality is the unique expression of the land and its climate. The shape and composition of the land, sunlight, rain, and wind come together to create the distinct colors, forms, scents, and characteristics of microorganisms, plants, and animals. These elements blend together to form fragrances and moments that seep into our daily lives, leaving behind memories.

This exhibition brings together two artists (@annajung.studio @hwaran_______) and three brands (@space_sabujak @dagyeong_wine @ricewine_on) to explore and visualize what “local” means to each of them. Through their work, they capture the scent of those memories and fleeting moments. Visit the space, curated to let you see, experience, and savor their interpretations of locality. ©nuieun

로컬리티는 땅과 기후를 겪어낸 각각의 표현입니다. 땅의 모양, 성분, 햇빛, 비, 바람 등에 의해 미생물, 식물, 동물의 고유한 색, 모양, 향, 성질들이 만들어지고 함께 어우러지며 향기를 품고, 우리의 의식주에 스며든 찰나들이 모여 기억이 됩니다.
